The short version: the images you open here are never uploaded to us. They are read and processed by your own browser, on your own device, and nothing is sent anywhere.
Your images
When you choose a file, your browser reads it from your device and does the work locally. The file is not uploaded to this site or to any other service. No copy is stored, because there is nowhere for it to be stored — the cleaning happens entirely inside the tab you have open, and closing the tab ends it.
The cleaned image is written by your own browser when you press a download button. It goes straight to your downloads folder.
What we do not collect
- No account, no sign-up, no email address required. There is no login on this site.
- No copy of any image you open.
- No file names, no image contents, no image metadata.
- No analytics or tracking scripts of our own.
Advertising, now and later
This site does not currently show any ads. It is intended to carry third-party advertising in the future, and we would rather tell you that now than have you find out later.
If and when third-party ads are added, those advertising providers may set their own cookies or similar identifiers in your browser and may collect data such as your IP address, your browser type and the pages you view, in order to serve and measure ads. That collection would be done by the ad providers under their own privacy policies, not by us, and we would not receive your images from them. When ads go live, this page will be updated to say so.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The tool on the homepage does not depend on cookies, so blocking them will not stop it from working.
What our hosting provider sees
Like any website, this one is served by a hosting provider, and serving a page means your browser makes a request to it. Our provider may keep standard request logs — typically the IP address the request came from, the browser's user-agent string, and the time of the request. That is a normal part of delivering a web page over the internet. Those logs are used for security and for keeping the site running; they are not used to build a profile of you, and they never contain your images.
Children
This site is a general-purpose image tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes — most likely when advertising is added — the date at the top of this page will change with it. Please check back if you want to know the current position.
